On Sunday 24 August join us for the 1st Crayons & Craft Beer at The Coastal Brewing Company.
Enjoy an afternoon sampling Craft Beer brewed here in Forster (other drinks available for the none beer drinkers) whilst learning a bit more about how to draw, creating your artwork through the medium of oil pastels.
The session will be led by Dave Keen from Sitting Duck comics
The Brewery will be open from 11am – 6pm on the day. Pizzas will be available for purchase from 11am – 2pm and the bar will be open for the purchase of drinks all day.
The Crayons & Craft Beer session led by Dave will run from 2pm – 4pm.
The session costs $50 per person and includes all of the art materials.

About Dave
In his youth, Dave studied many forms of art but always enjoyed the simple narrative of the comic. He draws his inspiration from many places having lived and traveled around Australia and around the world over the years but usually he simply leans on his mates for good-hearted humour. Dave is originally from Wollongong, NSW but now lives on a property on the Mid-North coast of NSW tending to his goats and turkeys while working passionately as a primary school treacher. Dave Keen’s work is a mixture of fine ink, water colours, acrylic and some awesome dad jokes.
