The Coastal Brewing Company opens in Forster, NSW
Locally produced craft beer has arrived in the Manning Valley – Great Lakes region with the opening of The Coastal Brewing Company in Dalman Street, Forster, NSW.
The microbrewery is a family-owned business with Helen and David Black making the move from the corporate life to focus on building Forster’s first microbrewery.
Inspired by the natural beauty of the Manning Valley and the Great Lakes, The Coastal Brewing Company is brewing a range of ales and lagers using all natural ingredients on a 1,200 litre brewhouse.
Owner and head brewer David Black said “After almost six months of renovating the premises and installing the brewhouse, we are excited to have launched our initial beers. In addition to our core range, we will also be producing some seasonal specials and we will be placing a big focus on listening to customers and understanding their taste preferences. Above all, we look forward to bringing locally produced fresh craft beer to both residents and visitors to the Manning Valley – Great Lakes region.”
The Coastal Brewing Company beers are available for tastings and take-away sales directly from the brewery.
Initially, tasting / take-away sales hours are Friday and Saturday afternoons with updates posted on https://www.facebook.com/coastalbrewing/. The company’s beers will soon also be available from restaurants and bars in the area. The Coastal Brewing Company also plans to introduce 375ml cans in the near future.
